After multiple failed repair attempts by the local distributor, FDDA requested that I travel to Deadhorse, Alaska, to diagnose and recommend appropriate repairs for an E1 airport crash response fire truck that was unable to meet the NFPA Acceleration Requirements. I successfully diagnosed and repaired the vehicle by developing a creative solution which was implemented as a design standard by E1 for all future Arctic vehicles.
